Dear Jason,
It’s Lewis Laville here I was on holiday at Hayling Island Holiday Park same time as your client was there called Shabir and your Employee Lizzii.
It was absolutely amazing to see such an amazing bond between a client and carer. Really made me feel so happy and they made our holiday one to remember! Seeing Shabir smile and having the time of his life dancing away and constantly smiling and loving life. Lizzii was absolutely more than welcoming and you could see she absolutely adored her job as a carer. She was patient and super calm, and amazing at listening. She joined in with the activities that Shabir liked to do and they work amazingly as a team. You could see he kept Lizzii on her toes and that is what made them a great team as well. Not once I saw Shabir not enjoy himself because every night Shabir and Lizzii were there they were super happy and made everyone giggle. She made Shabir feel comfortable and settled in the environment he was in because he was quiet at first then bang, a new Shabir came to life and once he got to know us he was very chatty and his sign language was amazing. Lizzii was translating it for us and was just amazing to see. Lizzii made Shabir that confident he was dancing around the dance floor and talking to the holiday staff as well which was lovely seeing him interact with others. Lizzii is just pure amazing at her job and she is one valued carer.
I don’t know if you do carer of the year, but I would certainly suggest giving Lizzii a medal because she 1000% deserves it.
